Time-wise Period and Technology
Kuolema resembled a modern-day Oz. Overwhelming beauty everywhere comes with natural resources, but the science labs gives the many technology. Everything thought of in science fiction novels actually exist here, like phaser guns, shrink rays, cloning machines, and anything that way. Here, nothing is magic... it's all got some sort of a complex engineering. An example is the powers of the royal sisters. When each baby is born unto a royal family or another family of high rank, a special chip is encoded into their DNA, to give them 'powers'.
Places to Expect
Most of the buildings here are like something from a fantasy novel. Lakeside cottages, Treehouses in the forest, and, of course, a huge, looming castle. However, the rest of the buildings are modern, like the ones in the 21st century. Land is plentiful, and so are houses.
Culture
Kuolemics are always interested in philosophy, engineering, cooking, warfare, literature, or religion.
Philosophy
Those that are interested in philosophy usually look at the world either in an exuberant, optimistic way, or a very depressed way. They have thoughts about the world that usually don't phase the minds of other human beings.
Engineering
Those interested in engineering are the type of people to get A+s(4s to those on the rubric) in science and math, and win every science fare with a robot of some sort. They have natural knacks for telling if modern technology will work and not break down, or not. They are always up-to-date on the newest technological entries into the world.
Cooking
Those interested in cooking are usually happy people, content in the simple things. They tend to be clean, and wear loose clothing. They can always address math problems and the like into something related to food or cooking.
Warfare
Those interested in warfare are very political, argumentative,or violent. They support the current war and hope for more in the future. They tend to be the type who look up 'guns' or 'explosives' on the computer, and try, sometimes, to actually make bombs. These people are est avoided at all costs.
Literature
Those interested in literature enjoy any form of poetry and books. Ask them any question about any author, and they can give you a logical answer. They are also very good in grammar.
Religion
Those interested in religion are very established on one denomination, or study all the religions. They can believe in all gods, one, a few, or none. They always make statements that others have said about a certain god, and either agree, or strongly disagree, and usually make a fight about it. They are very headstrong people.
Economy
The Kuolemic economy is a rather thriving one. Imported to them is art, glass, textures, and meat. In turn, they export flowers, seeds, textiles, grains, and any type of machinery.
Entertainment
Kuolemics are constantly throwing concerts and parties in the downtown area. They are unable to watch television, but they do spend a lot of time listening to music. Their mainstream music is similar, and some times the real songs, of the 60s, 70s, and the 80s music from Earth. Some of the direct songs that are given from Earth to Kuolema include 'I'm your Captain(Closer to Home)' by Grand Funk Railroad, 'Rocketman' and 'Your Song' by Elton John, 'Magic Man' by Heart, and 'Here Comes the Rain Again' by The Eurythmics.
Clothing
Kuolemic clothing is extravagant and casual.
